Rita Szabó (Budapest, Hungary)

Rita Szabó:

I should say, when I first got in touch with music, perhaps I would say that at my first heartthrob. What else could a person say whose mother was a violin, viola and music teacher at the same time? I watched the artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics performances on TV already at the age of 3, so the next September I arrived at the artistic gymnastics class with a huge smile. I was 6 when I had my first piano lesson which based and filled the next 7 years of my life besides music elementary school.

When I was 13 I badly missed sport so I enrolled at Jumping Jack Aerobic Club where I was first taught the basics of aerobics. One year later I stood on the stage of FISAF Aerobic Association as a professional. I was member of the Aerodance – Aerobic Dance Theatre for 10 years I spent with professional aerobics, I took part in several events, performances.

Besides work and college I regularly went to aerobics and zumba classes when I first met kizomba in February 2013. It was love at first sight. I started to learn at Kizomba Club Hungary Association and I have been improving myself with enthusiasm. I feel that in kizomba I found everything what I need, a unity of respect and love of dance, music, happiness, emotions, friends and pleasure that I can share it with you day by day.
